Dr Dinesh Sethi is the Programme Manager (a.i.) for Violence and Injury Prevention at the WHO Regional Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Before this he worked at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with an interest in violence and injury prevention and the evaluation of trauma services in low and middle income country settings. He read medicine at Liverpool University and trained in public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London Region. Dr Sethi has published over 50 peer review papers, written major documents, received several research grants and worked on injury prevention in an international context for the past 10 years. His interests include road safety, the prevention of interpersonal violence and the transfer of good practice.
